With deep roots in both Italy and Greece, Teodoro Mefalopulus’ inspiration to manifest creative visions came from his love for travel and gratification from interacting through his work. His ambition has always led him to push the boundaries of storytelling by using a multimedia-platform approach to engage audiences in the most innovative ways. Whether it’s branding or straightforward advertising, Teo and his team always look for the next, new route to interact with people — finding out what makes them who they are in order to meet his client’s needs in the most organic way. Teo lives in Austin where he founded his first start-up while still in high school and sold it before he was twenty. In 2015 Teo began his first solo company, Directed by Creatives, and subsequently co-founded Nimaroh, a creative advertising agency at just twenty-three years-old. Teo views his biggest accomplishment as being able to create a workspace where him and his friends can do what they love in an environment that is fulfilling to them and their clients. His company’s modo is “we do things not because we have an agenda to fill but rather because we love what we do.” Teo has a BA from Iowa State University in Interdisciplinary Design. His clients range from Lyft to Redbull to Dolce Neve, the local gelato shop which his own parents helped open — which is no surprise since Teo’s rigorous work ethic is only matched by his love for Gelato.
